Our Providers

The most important part of getting help is finding a provider who’s the right fit for you and your needs. At The Counseling Studio, we’re pretty particular about who we invite to join our team, and we’re proud of our staff.

We hope that someone here will be just right for you. But if not? That’s okay. We’ll still do our best to give you a few other ideas.

We are a collective of independent practitioners. Each clinician runs their own schedule and is credentialed with insurance companies as individuals.

When you’re ready to get started or would like to learn more about how they work, please reach out to the therapist directly.

I work with kids age 3 to teens and their caregivers. As a mother of 4 perfectly imperfect kiddos myself I understand how difficult the parenting journey can be and how isolating it can feel to deal with big, baffling childhood behaviors. I specialize in the neuroscience of Play Therapy to empower kids to become more aware, more intentional and more courageous as we unpack their struggles. I also give caregivers the resources, tools, and skills they need to be more effective and confident in their parenting. I am over the top passionate about helping kids with sensitive nervous systems or trauma go from a place of stress and survival to inspired and thriving! I specialize in working with children over five and their caregivers. My passion is supporting kids faced with adverse experiences to realize their capacity to do hard things. Using an Active Counseling approach, kids learn how movement can help the body regulate and manage stress. They learn how breathing can calm their nervous system and will explore a wide-range of regulation strategies. Caregivers and children develop an awareness of how specific movements support whole-brain integration in a safe, supportive setting ... all while having fun and bouncing a few racquetballs! I look forward to meeting you and joining you in your journey.

  • Aubrey Burnett, CMT, LMT, RYT500 - Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor

I've been offering bodywork in the Wichita community since 2008. Pain doesn't discriminate and reveals itself in many ways. Having the ability to offer both massage therapy and yoga to clients creates a bridge between the physical and energetic body. Private yoga offers an opportunity to customize practices for the needs of the student. Sometimes the focus is physical postures to help reduce tension in the body, sometimes the focus is on breathwork and mindfulness practices to help calm the nervous system. Massage sessions are also planned around the client's needs. I've had training in multiple modalities and have worked with all ages and stages in life. My experience has brought me to a place where I am able to hold space for clients. My intention is to collaborate with people and help them discover tools they can utilize to support their unique health journey.
